1 lb GROUND TURKEY
1/4 c light mayonnaise
1 c fresh spinach, washed, drained & chopped
1 Medium onion, finely chopped
1 Clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c bread crumbs
1/2 c Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 Medium red bell pepper, sliced and ribs removed
4 Medium Kaiser buns, cut in half
In a bowl, mix turkey, mayonnaise, spinach, onion, garlic, pepper, Worcestershire and bread crumbs. Form into 4 patties.
Saute in a pan on each side, then cook in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 5 minutes. Or grill over medium high heat, about 6 inches from heat source, for 6 to 8 minutes or until the temperature reaches 155 degrees F.
Top burgers with Mozzarella and red pepper slices and continue to cook about 2 more minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Brown Kaiser buns and serve with turkey burgers.
