3 lbs GROUND TURKEY
1 c chopped scallions
3 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp peeled and grated fresh ginger
1/2 c sesame oil
1/3 c reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 c finely chopped cilantro
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted and cooled
1 tsp fine sea salt
1 c reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 c white vinegar
1/4 c sesame oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 c chopped scallions
2 tbsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted and cooled
Turkey Loaf
Mix ground turkey with the remaining ingredients, mixing gently, but well.
Prepare a roasting pan by spraying with cooking spray. Form a loaf and place in the roasting pan.
Roast in a preheated 325 degrees F oven for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer.
Remove from oven and allow the turkey loaf to sit for 15 minutes to absorb all the juices and flavors.
Korean Sauce
Meanwhile, combine the dipping sauce ingredients. Whisk to combine all the flavors and to dissolve the honey.
Plating and Service
Slice the turkey loaf into 1-inch slices and drizzle sauce over each slice.
