1 c fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
6 Slices COOKED TURKEY BREAST, cut 1/3-inch thick
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 14-oz Can spaghetti sauce
1/2 lb Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/2 c green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1/2 c fresh button mushrooms, cleaned and finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a shallow pie plate, combine bread crumbs, salt, pepper and oregano. Dip turkey slices in egg, then dredge in seasoned crumbs.
Heat oil in saute pan and brown turkey slices on both sides until lightly crisp.
Transfer to a 13x9-inch baking dish. Cover turkey slices with spaghetti sauce, top each piece with Mozzarella and sprinkle with green pepper and mushrooms.
Bake, uncovered, until sauce bubbles and cheese melts, about 20 minutes.
