Curried Turkey Salad Bowl

Ingredients

3 qt COOKED DARK TURKEY, diced

3 c frozen peas, thawed

1-1/2 c sliced celery

1-1/2 c diced red onion

1-1/2 c diced yellow bell pepper, seeded

3-4 c mayonnaise

3 tbsp curry powder

3 tbsp lime juice

Freshly ground pepper To taste

12 6-inch boule breads

Fresh parsley sprigs As needed

Directions


 



Combine turkey, peas, celery, onion and bell pepper.


Mix mayonnaise, curry powder and lime juice; blend into turkey mixture. Season with pepper to taste. Cover and chill for service.


Slice 1-inch from top of each bread and hollow out centers, leaving a thick shell.


Fill bread bowls with turkey salad mixture and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
