1 lb GROUND TURKEY
2/3 c finely chopped red onion
1/3 c (about 2 oz) shredded Parmesan
3 tbsp coarsely chopped pitted Kalamata olives (about 6)
1-1/2 tsp olive oil plus additional for brushing
1 small garlic clove, pressed
1/2 tsp chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp coarse kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4 crusty rolls, halved horizontally
Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Brush grill rack with oil.
Gently mix turkey, onion, Parmesan, olives, olive oil, garlic, basil, 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in medium bowl.
Form into 4 patties, each about 1 inch thick. Brush with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Grill burgers, turning once, until the internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached.
