8 Slices marbled rye bread
1/3 c honey mustard
3/4 lb ROASTED TURKEY, sliced thin
1 Large tart red apples, unpeeled, cored and sliced thin
4 oz smoked Gouda cheese, cut in 1-oz slices
1/4 c unsalted butter, softened
Spread one side of each bread slice with mustard. Top each of 4 bread slices with 3-ounces turkey, 4 to 5 apple slices and 1 ounce cheese. Cover with second slice of bread, mustard facing down.
Spread outside of bread with butter. Place sandwiches on preheated grill or in hot skillet.
Cook over medium heat until bread is golden, about 4 minutes. Turn and grill second side of sandwich until cheese is melted and bread is golden on both sides.
Cut in half and serve immediately.
