8 Medium plum tomatoes, finely chopped
6 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 c fresh cilantro, well cleaned & chopped
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 c balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
3 lbs BONELESS TURKEY, thawed
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp chili powder
Combine tomatoes, onions, cilantro, pepper, oil, vinegar and salt. Blend well, cover and chill.
Prepare grill for indirect heat cooking method.
Brush turkey with oil. Combine garlic salt and chili powder. Sprinkle over turkey and inside cavity.
Place turkey on grill using indirect heat method of cooking. Cover grill and cook for about 1-1/2 hours or until the internal temperature registers 165 degrees F.
Allow turkey to stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
Serve sliced turkey with chilled Cilantro Salsa.
