1 lb GROUND TURKEY
1/2 c medium or hot taco sauce
4 c restaurant style tortilla chips
3 tbsp sliced canned jalapeno peppers, well drained
1/4 c chopped green onions
1-1/2 c shredded Mexican-blend cheeses
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a heavy skillet, over medium heat, brown turkey until all pink disappears. Drain liquid. Stir in taco sauce and heat until gently simmering.
Layer chips on a large shallow baking dish or decorative pizza pan. Spoon cooked turkey atop chips and spread evenly.
Sprinkle jalapeno slices and chopped onions atop turkey. Sprinkle evenly with cheese, covering all surfaces.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until cheese melts and nachos are hot throughout.
