Island Turkey Sandwich



1/4 c non-fat mayonnaise

1 tsp Dijon-style mustard

1/2 tsp lime juice

1 Can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 c thinly sliced green onion

1/2 c finely chopped green pepper

1 Can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained

1 Loaf (1 lb) Hawaiian bread, sliced in half

4-6 Leaves leaf lettuce, washed and well drained

1 lb TURKEY HAM, shaved


Island Spread: In small bowl combine mayonnaise, mustard and lime juice; cover and chill.

Sandwich: In medium bowl combine pineapple, onions and peppers. Gently fold in oranges.

Spread Island Spread (mayo, mustard and lime juice) on each half of bread. Arrange lettuce on bottom half of bread, top with turkey ham and pineapple mixture. Place other bread half on top.

To serve, slice into 6 wedges.
