2 Pints cornbread, crumbled
20 Slices dried bread, cubed
2 lbs ITALIAN TURKEY SAUSAGE
3 c celery, chopped
2 c sweet onion, chopped
2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 c jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
4 Large eggs, slightly beaten
2 c TURKEY BROTH
Salt and freshly ground black pepper To Taste
In a large bowl, combine cornbread and bread cubes.
Over medium heat, sauté sausage, celery and onion until sausage is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
Combine breads and sausage mixture together. Add poultry seasoning, jalapeno peppers, eggs and turkey broth.
Gently mix together. Season to taste.
Spoon dressing into lightly greased 12 X 20 X 2-inch pan.
Bake, covered, at 325 degrees F for 60-70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
