Mandarin Orange Turkey

Boneless Breast


2 tbsp all purpose flour


2 tbsp olive oil

1/3 c hoisin sauce

1/3 c orange juice

2 Mandarin oranges* OR tangerines, peeled & sectioned

1/2 tsp chili garlic sauce

2 tbsp green onions, chopped

1/4 c chopped cashews


1. Place flour in shallow dish. Dredge turkey in flour to lightly coat.

2. In a medium size skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add turkey and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, until lightly browned. Remove from pan, cover and keep warm.

3. Whisk together hoisin sauce, orange juice and chili garlic sauce. Pour into skillet and deglaze pan, scraping up any browned bits.

4. Add citrus, green onion and 1/2 of the cashews. Simmer, stirring constantly for 3 minutes or until onions are tender.

5. Pour sauce over turkey and top with remaining cashews. Serve with rice or noodles.

6. *Canned oranges may be used.
