4 oz commercial broccoli slaw, shredded
4 oz red cabbage, shredded
6 oz Swiss cheese, grated
3 oz commercial Thousand Island dressing
1 tbsp honey style mustard
1 tsp celery seed, crushed
16 Slices rye bread
1-1/2 lbs TURKEY PASTRAMI, thinly sliced
In a medium bowl, toss broccoli slaw, cabbage, Swiss cheese, dressing, mustard and celery seeds. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
Layer bread slices with 3 ounces turkey pastrami. Top with portion of cabbage/cheese mixture. Top with bread slice.
Repeat with remaining sandwiches. Cut each sandwich on the diagonal. Secure each sandwich half with a frilled toothpick.
