Open Faced Grilled Turkey Burger

Ingredients

2 eggs

1/2 c cream

2 c wheat crumbs, crusts removed & bread processed to fine crumb

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp dry mustard

2 tbsp salt

2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

1-1/2 c onion, minced

1-1/2 c celery, minced

5 lbs GROUND TURKEY

15 English muffins

Red-skinned mashed potatoes As needed

Cranberry ketchup As needed

Watercress sprigs As needed

Directions


 



In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs and cream together.


Mix in bread crumbs, seasonings, onion and celery.


In another bowl, break up turkey, but do not overwork.


Pour egg mixture over turkey, breaking up poultry, but not over mixing.


Portion into 7 ounce burgers.


Grill until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.


Place on a toasted English muffin half and serve each portion with 5 ounces red-skinned mashed potatoes and 2 ounces cranberry ketchup. Garnish with 1 sprig watercress.
