3 lbs COOKED TURKEY
8 c celery, thinly sliced
1 qt light salad dressing
2 c almonds, slivered
4 c bread cubes, toasted
1 c green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 c red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1/2 c lemon juice
3 tbsp grated onion
4 c bread cubes, toasted
1 c grated Cheddar cheese
Cut turkey into 1/2-inch cubes.
In an oiled 2x12x20-inch steam table pan, combine turkey, celery, salad dressing, almonds, 4 cups of bread cubes, peppers, lemon juice and onion. Mix well.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until hot throughout.
Top with remaining 4 cups of bread cubes and cheese and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until bubbly.
Yields: 26 2-ounce servings.
