8 eggs, lightly beaten
6 lbs GROUND TURKEY
1-1/2 lbs unseasoned bread crumbs
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1-1/2 c water
6 oz ketchup
1/3 c dried minced onions
1/3 c green pepper, seeded and chopped
2 tbsp prepared mustard
2 tsp black pepper
24 Kaiser or hamburger rolls, split
24 leaves green leaf lettuce, washed, dried and chilled
3-4 tomatoes, washed and sliced
Mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise As needed
Combine eggs, ground turkey, bread crumbs, dried herbs, water, ketchup, onions, green pepper, mustard and black pepper; mix thoroughly.
Shape 4 ounces turkey mixture into oval patties.
Arrange patties on a shallow, prepared 18x26x1-inch baking sheet.
Bake 25-30 minutes in a preheated 425 degree F oven until the internal temperature of 165 degrees F is reached.
Serve each turkey burger with a roll, lettuce, tomatoes and requested condiments.
