1 c honey
3/4 c lower-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp fresh ginger root, grated
1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
3 lbs GROUND TURKEY
1-1/2 c celery, finely chopped
3/4 c green onions, thinly sliced
12 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Combine honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Stir until well blended. Cover and reserve.
In separate bowl, gently mix together turkey, celery and onions. Blend in 1/2 cup honey glaze mixture.
Divide turkey mixture into 12 patties, about 3/4-inch thick.
Place patties on well-oiled grill rack, about 4-6 inches from the heat source. Brush generously with remaining honey glaze. Continue to grill until patties are cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Serve on toasted buns.
