To Microwave Poach Turkey Tenderloins



1 Medium onion, sliced

1 Rib celery, sliced

3 Black peppercorns

1 Bay leaf

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 c dry white wine



In 1-quart microwave-safe dish, combine onion, celery, peppercorns, bay leaf, salt and wine. Arrange tenderloin in wine mixture in a circle with points toward center. Cover dish with vented plastic wrap.

Microwave on HIGH (100% power) 5 to 6 minutes or until food thermometer, inserted in thickest portion of tenderloin registers 170 degrees F, turning tenderloin over halfway through microwave time.

Remove tenderloin from liquid and drain on paper towels. If desired, may be made ahead of time to this point, covered and refrigerated.
