Total Turkey Loaf

Ingredients

1 lb GROUND TURKEY

3/4 c herb stuffing mix

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

2/3 c applesauce

1/3 c finely diced onion

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp canola oil

1 tsp hot sauce

Vegetable cooking spray As needed

1 tart red apple, cored, wedged and dipped in lemon juice

Directions


 



Crumble turkey into large mixing bowl and sprinkle with herb stuffing, salt and garlic powder. Toss lightly with a fork.


Add applesauce, onion, egg, oil and hot sauce. Mix well.


Spray loaf pan with vegetable cooking spray.


Shape turkey mixture into a loaf and place in the loaf pan.


Bake in a preheated 350 degree F. oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature registers 165 degrees F.


Remove from pan; place on serving platter and garnish with fresh apple wedges.
