1/3 c mayonnaise
1/2 tsp horseradish
1/2 tsp chopped chives
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 c canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1 Large egg white
1/2 c shredded zucchini
1/2 c finely chopped sweet red pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 lb GROUND TURKEY
1 tbsp olive oil
4 hamburger buns, split
1 Small sweet onion, thinly sliced
4 romaine leaves, washed, drained and chilled
Mix mayonnaise, horseradish, chives and garlic powder together. Cover and refrigerate.
In a small bowl, coarsely mash beans. Add egg white, zucchini, red pepper, chili powder, onion powder, pepper and salt.
Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into four patties.
In a large skillet, cook burgers in oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F when inserted in the center of each burger and juices run clear.
Serve on buns with horseradish mayonnaise, onion and lettuce.
