Turkey Burgers with Cranberry Salsa



1 1-lb Can whole berry cranberry sauce

1 Medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely minced

1 tbsp finely chopped shallots

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tbsp chopped cilantro


2 Medium onions, finely chopped

2 Medium jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely minced

2 Cloves garlic, minced

2 Large eggs

1 c bread crumbs

8 burger buns, split and lightly grilled


Cranberry Salsa

In a small bowl combine cranberry sauce, 1 minced jalapeno pepper, shallots, lime juice and cilantro.

Turkey Burgers

Gently combine ground turkey, onion, 2 minced jalapeno peppers, garlic, egg and bread crumbs. Form into 8 patties.

Grill over medium heat, about 4 inches from the heat, for 5-7 minutes per side to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Place burgers on grilled buns and top with 1/4 cup cranberry salsa.
