1 9-Inch baked pie shell
3/4 c COOKED TURKEY, chopped
1/4 c canned sliced mushrooms, drained well
1 c Cheddar cheese, grated
2 Each green onions, thinly sliced
4 Each eggs, slightly beaten
1 c milk
Cayenne pepper Pinch
Freshly grated nutmeg Pinch
Salt Pinch
Arrange turkey in a baked pie shell. Top with mushrooms, cheese, and onions.
In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30-35 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
Serve with a tossed salad and buttermilk biscuits, if desired.
