24 Slices whole wheat bread, toasted
12-24 Lettuce leaves, washed and chilled
3 lbs OVEN ROASTED TURKEY BREAST or SMOKED TURKEY, sliced
4-5 Large whole red ripe tomatoes, sliced thin
6 (8-oz) Large ripe, fresh California avocados, peeled, seeded and sliced
Salt and pepper To Taste
On half of the toasted bread slices, layer a leaf or two of lettuce, 4-ounces sliced turkey and tomato slices.
For each sandwich, fan the avocado slices, from 1/2 of each avocado, across the tomatoes. Sprinkle each with salt and pepper.
Cover each with remaining bread slices.
