1 lb GROUND TURKEY
1/4 c fat-free Italian dressing
1/4 c seasoned bread crumbs
4 Hamburger buns
4 to 8 Large fresh basil leaves, washed and dried
4 Slices tomato
4 Thin slices sweet onion
Preheat charcoal or gas grill for direct-heat cooking.
In medium-size bowl combine turkey, dressing and bread crumbs. Evenly divide and shape turkey mixture into 4 patties, approximately 1/2-inch thick.
Grill turkey burgers, 4 inches from the heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side until 165 degrees F is reached on meat thermometer and turkey is no longer pink in center.
To serve, place each burger on bottom half of bun and top with basil leaves, tomato and onion slices.
