24 Slices marble rye bread
1 c honey mustard
2-1/4 lbs OVEN ROASTED TURKEY BREAST, thinly sliced
3 medium unpeeled tart red apples, such as Gala, cored and thinly sliced
12 oz smoked Gouda cheese, sliced
3/4 c unsalted butter, softened
Spread one side of all bread with mustard. Top mustard side of 12 bread slices with 3 ounces sliced turkey, 4 to 5 apple slices and 1 ounce sliced Gouda.
Cover with remaining bread slices, mustard-side down.
Spread outsides of sandwiches with softened butter.
Per order: preheat a flat top griddle or large skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches. Cook 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until cheese has melted and bread is golden brown on both sides.
Cut in half.
