1 Can (4 oz) chopped green chilies, well drained
1/3 c mayonnaise
1 Loaf (1 lb) whole marble rye bread, cut lengthwise in three sections
4 - 6 Leaves lettuce, washed, drained and crisp
1/2 c cilantro leaves, washed, drained and chilled
1-1/2 lbs FULLY COOKED TURKEY BREAST, shaved
2 Medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 Medium zucchini, thinly sliced
1/2 c thinly sliced Bermuda onion
1/2 c grated carrots
In small bowl combine chilies and mayonnaise.
Spread chili-mayo on each lengthwise slice of bread. Arrange lettuce and cilantro on bottom third of loaf and top with 1/2 of the turkey, tomato, zucchini, onion and carrot.
Top with middle lengthwise bread slice. Repeat layering with remaining turkey, tomato, zucchini, onion and carrot. Cover with top of loaf.
To serve, cut into 6 slices.
