Ingredients

10-12 (10-inch) wooden skewers

1.5 - 2 pounds boneless, skinless turkey breast, cut into 1.5 to 2-inch cubes

1 cup marinade of your choice: buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, etc

Directions

Soak Skewers: Start by soaking your wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. This important step prevents them from burning on the grill.

Prepare Turkey: Cube the turkey breast into 1.5 to 2-inch pieces. Aim for uniform sizes so they cook through nice and evenly.

Marinate Turkey: Place the cubed turkey into a large mixing bowl. Pour your chosen marinade (BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, or buffalo sauce) over the turkey, making sure to drench all the pieces thoroughly. Toss to coat evenly. Let the turkey marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Skewer the Turkey: Once marinated, thread the turkey cubes onto the soaked skewers. I recommend about four pieces per skewer, leaving a little room between each piece. This allows for quicker, more even cooking and helps get those great grill marks.

Preheat Grill: Get your grill nice and hot. Preheat it to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F) so you hear a good sizzle when the kebabs hit the grates.

Grill the Kebabs: Place the kebabs on the hot grill. Grill for about 3-5 minutes per side, turning a few times to get those beautiful grill marks all around. You're looking for a total grilling time of 10 to 12 minutes.

Check Temperature: Carefully remove the kebabs from the grill. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of a piece of turkey. It's perfectly cooked when it reaches 165°F.

Serve & Enjoy: Plate 'em up! If you'd like, drizzle some extra sauce like BBQ, honey mustard, or whatever you're feeling over the finished kebabs.

Don’t forget: These turkey kebabs are fantastic for meal prep! Make more than you need for dinner, and you'll have an easy way to add flavorful, lean protein to any salad or bowl throughout the week.
