1 lb LEAN GROUND TURKEY
2 c chopped onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
3 c prepared chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce
8 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained according to package directions
4 Sprigs fresh basil, for garnish
In large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, sauté turkey, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper 8 to 10 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink and onion is tender.
Add spaghetti sauce to turkey mixture. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To serve, arrange cooked spaghetti in individual bowls and ladle sauce over cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh basil.
